I recently retired from a professional career and enjoy companion work with seniors. I enjoy Crafts (Watercolor Painting), Music, Meals, Laundry, Errands, & Companion Care for Elderly Adults. I cared for my own Mom after she had a stroke and was in her 80's and, later, looked after and advocated for my Dad after he had a serious car accident until he passed at the age of 94. Due to his injuries, he could no longer walk. I would spend many hours/week with him, take him out for errands, restaurants, family activities, doctor appointments, etc. I understand how important activity can be for aging parents and would find it rewarding to help another family.
