About Lorraine

Born and raised in South Africa, I moved to the US in 2018 to be an Au Pair for two years. My first family had an energetic and kind 9-year-old girl that loved to swim, ride her bike, visit her favourite candy store and eat chicken nuggets for dinner every night. Her care centered around preparing meals, helping with homework, bedtime routines, playdates, soccer practice and other fun activities. The second family had three busy teenage boys - their care was less hands on since I only prepared meals, drove them around and helped with homework. I recently moved to NYC for a new job in data analysis. I enjoy puzzles, board games, walks in the park, reading and being outside (running, hiking, etc). I would love to explore the museums in the city, go to different parks and find the best spot for soft serve ice cream. I believe myself to be responsible, organized and dependable.
