I'm a bit older than most caregivers today who are just beginning. My age is perfect for this type of work. I understand the everyday changes we go through as we age. I'm still strong and clear minded but I face the same fears . I think I can understand and be more caring. Don't count me out because I'm older. I am still good at my job... I have 30 years experience with Alzheimer's, dementia. stroke cancer post surgery also diabetes. I can operate a hoyer lift use a gait belt. I am with the home health registry signed with ihss . I have certificates for CPR and wound care. I have a 10 yr old 10 lb support dog that has worked with me since a puppy. She gives alot of joy to everyone she meets. I can live in or do shift work. I have a reliable car and clean record. I love to sew, garden play games and watch korean tv shows with sub titles..
