About Lori

I LOVE children! I have four of my own. Prior to staying home as a full-time homeschooling mom, my career was in the medical field. I have a degree in Respiratory Care, and I practiced as a Registered Respiratory Therapist for 11 years which included ICU, CCU, NICU, and ER. The last five years I functioned as a Neonatal Coordinator in an NICU. After raising my children, I went back to work as a nanny in 2018. I have worked for four different families usually two at one time. Two of the families still employ me on occasion. Currently I am working as an accounting support specialist in an office setting. I have been employed there for two years, but I miss seeing children grow and develop into wonderful little persons. I am very much of the philosophy of limited screen time, and having fun with appropriate developmental play time, and education. My starting rate is $25/hour due to my college education, along with my medical and nanny experience.
