About Lori

I'm a fun & easy going empty nester who's starting a new chapter in hopes of having the opportunity to continue working with and nurturing little ones. I'd describe my personality as joyful, energetic & kind. I like working with kids as they bring so much joy & playfulness to my days. I'm looking for a job that enables me to work with & for growing families that become like my own. I started working with kids in 2000 when my second child was born & I couldn't find trusted childcare. In 2018 I happily re-opened my daycare until February 2025 when I moved to Sioux Falls. In my spare time I like to walk with my dog, cook new recipes, read & listen to podcasts. Spending time with my adult children is always my favorite thing! One thing you should know about me is connection, good energy & kindness are very important to me. My skills include my ability to nurture, understand & always stay patient. Being silly & playing also comes naturally to me.
