I started caring for seniors back in February of last year. I got the opportunity to take care of a lady who is a quadriplegic. I had the most fun taking care of her, listening to her stories of being a horse trainer, her love for gardening and just going out and having fun. We actually shared a lot of the same interests, so our days were never boring. To this day I still keep in touch with her One thing you should know about me is I love to entertain my residents. Whether it be singing, dancing or just telling jokes I love to make them laugh. Another thing I feel that families should know is that I am very nurturing. I spend a lot of time looking after my little brother and helping my grandmother, and so I am able to learn how to properly care for others, whether they are younger or older.

Lorin is an amazing caregiver! She is light hearted, friendly, responsible, respectful, and very knowledgeable about all that she does. If she doesn’t know something she doesn’t brat around the bush. She will be honest and then she makes the effort to go and learn what she doesn’t know to improve her level of care. She honestly is amazing and I couldn’t ask for a better caregiver!
