About Lorin

Greetings! My name is Lori, and I would consider it an honor to provide any and all services neededto assist an elder in remaining safe and comfortable in their own home. I am the mother of 3 grown children, one special needs, and have been a caregiver of one sort or another for decades. I started as a CNA, putting myself through college where I initially earned a degree in psychology, with a concentration in aging. As I raised children, I worked in both nursing home and in-home settings. When my father was diagnosed with lung cancer, I was his primary caregiver for 2 years. Later in life, I provided the same assistance to my dear mother until her death in 2018. I earned a Master's degree in social work and was employed as an outpatient clinical therapist, predominantly with clients over 50 years of age. I have also worked as a clinician in substance abuse treatment center. I recently moved to Columbus from Boston, and eagerly await the chance to further support the elderly population.
