About Lori

I'd describe my personality as calming , lighthearted, and a compassionate listener I like caring for seniors because they have so much wisdom and they deserve the very best care I'm looking for a job that helps others , calms them , and empowers them. I started caring for seniors when I retired from being a successful nanny for newborns up through 2 years old . I wanted to extend the care I can provide to seniors . In my spare time, I like to study everything I can about dementia, and spend time with my family and pets . One thing you should know about me is I will work with the whole family to compliment whatever kind of care they do with their loved one . While also being open to any changes in care they would like , and be in tune with the person I care for. My skills include patience, compassion, sense of humor , valuable listening skills and working with the person who has dementia in accordance with my training .
