Hello! I hold a Bachelors Degree in Elementary and Middle School Education. Wisconsin teaching license. . Graduate work in Reading/English Language Arts with certification in the Science of Reading. Former Second Grade and Middle School Teacher. Homeschool Educator. Academic Tutor for 15+ years. Teaching experience with varying learning needs including ADHD, Spectrum Disorders, SPED, English Learning Needs, Accelerated/Honor Programs. Specialized in teaching students in-person and virtually in reading fluency/comprehension/decoding instruction, study skills development, writing process. My goal is to provide effective, patient, and confidence-boosting instruction that fosters positive growth both inside and outside the classroom. As a mother to six, I combine real-life knowledge of children's needs with years of tangible experience allowing me to utilize creative strategies and understanding to each student's personal learning needs.
