About Lori

My dad at the age of 51 was diagnosed with Alzheimer's. As this was devastating news he was actually relieved that he didn't have a brain tumor. Being the man he was he started right up on the most current drug study at that time. He felt he was given this disease so that he could help others who would later be diagnosed as well. He believed everything happens for a reason. I as well believe the same thing. My mom brother and I all helped take care of dad as he (we) went on this journey. There was hard times good time. Sad times and even funny times. A sense of humor works wonders. Later after my dads passing I went on to become a home health aid. I worked thru an agency as well as consumer Direct for a lady with MS. I supported many with their personal needs, daily chores and meal preparation. I want our time spent together to be an exciting fun experience that each person will look forward to. A time to be active. Laugh. Smile. Interact with someone outside of their circle.
