About Lori

Feeling called to work with children, I took a significant pay cut to leave the mortgage banking industry and take a position at a Children's Home. Although I was already a mother, I learned a lot about child development and behavior during the eight years that I worked there. After completing a Master's degree, I went on to pursue a career working with college students, and did that for the next 13 years. A couple of years ago, I moved back to my hometown, and I have recently realized how much I miss having young children in my life. I believe children thrive in an atmosphere of routine, consistency, and imaginative play (as opposed to screen time). If you are looking for firm, but fun, I may be the one you are seeking.
