About Lori

I recently started Peace of Mind Home Care as I love helping people and desire to help people be as independent as possible and stay in their homes. I am a nurse and have worked on a medical surgical hospital floor for 8 years caring for a wide range of disease processes including dementia, hospice, hip and knee replacements, hip fractures, and basic care with the aging adult. This also included working with ICU patients. I also had a dear friend that I helped until her passing last year. I joined her for medical appointments as she was hard of hearing and I could help communicate with the provider and also explain to my friend to plan of care. I also helped her with ostomy care. I have worked in a neurology clinic for the past two years. Working with senior is very rewarding. I love hearing their life stories and helping meet their needs so life is more meaningful and enjoyable.
