About Lori

I was an elementary school teacher, speech language pathologist, and school administrator. I decided I wanted a break from the school system and medical settings. I have three grands ages 5, 4, 2. I lived with my daughter for three years helping her with my grand babies while they lived in Okinawa. I stay active with my family and friends. I love dogs. Things I like to do with children: read to them, play games, puzzles, legos, writing, crafts, bake, swim, play outside, walk, go to parks, have play dates. I am renewing my CPR and first aid. I don't smoke. I have my own car and can run errands. I can do light housekeeping, simple meals/meal prep, help with laundry. I'd describe my personality as funny, analytical, caring. I like working with kids because they live in the moment... are pure in heart. In my spare time, I like to walk, ride my bike, play cards and board games, and visit friends and family. My skills include organization, communication, and nurturing.
