Lorena (Lo) has been caring for our son for about 18 months, since he was about a year old. She has done a fantastic job with him, and I would absolutely hire her again. I can see that she genuinely loves him and spending time with him, and I absolutely trust her to keep him safe. Lo has been responsive when I’ve made suggestions about my son’s care, or asked her to handle something differently. I’ve never heard her raise her voice to him, and she’s been extremely patient with him as he’s grown into his twos. She’s also very good at redirection. She seems to strike a good balance of engaging him in activities and giving him space to focus and play on his own. My son is always happy to see her, especially on Mondays after they’ve been apart for the weekend. She is also responsible for some of his best belly laughs. Overall, I have found her to be very responsible and reliable.
