Hello! I am an elementary teacher who is passionate about helping students reach their full potential in academics while nurturing the whole child. I know kids' brains are best able to learn when they feel safe, secure and cared about by their teacher. Over the past 9 years, I have taught 3rd, 4th and 5th grades and was a reading specialist working with grades K-5 for three of those years. I am teaching 1st grade this year. I have found I don't have a favorite age group to work with or subject area of focus- I just love teaching kids! I would love the opportunity to partner with you to support your child as their tutor.
