I am a retired correctional officer but I was a med officer and earned my CNA and CMA because I passed meds in the correctional facility. I retired early to care for my husband for 6 years at home until he passed away in 2018. I then renewed my CNA working in long term care, assisted living, memory care, and home healthcare and hospice. Alzheimers runs in my family and my spouse had a form of dementia so I have had a lot of experience with memory care. I believe that being a caregiver is the greatest gift of compassion, kindness and love that can be extended to our loved ones. I would consider a great honor to assist you with your loved one's care.
