Hello! My name is London and I am 38 years old. I'm a single mom by choice to a 7-year-old who is amazing! I am also the eldest of six children. For the last 20 years, I've done admin work but when my son was born, I wanted to stay home with him so I opened a home daycare. For the last 6 years, I have run my home daycare in Oakland serving ages 0-4 with 2-4 kids each day. I moved to San Pablo a few months ago and am now looking for a full time Nanny/Nannyshare position. I would love to work with families that lead with kindness and are very communicative about their childcare needs. I would love a job that is flexible enough for me to drop off and pick up my little one to/from school. I would love to build trust to take kids to playgrounds or museums, etc. I hope to find families that truly understand and are considerate of the fact that this is my career. This job is keeping a roof over my families head so I need contracts in place and reciprocally respectful cancellation practices.

London is amazing! We’ve been bringing our nephew to her on all of the non-school weekdays for years. He is always eager to see her and comes home joyful and well-regulated eight hours later, no small feat for a preschooler. London’s warmth, caring, and clearly loving connection with the children in her care, as well as her incredible competence at kid-managing (#goals!) let us rest easy knowing our baby is in good hands.
