About Lona

Hi! I'm Lona. With a background of working with children and growing up in a busy household with five siblings, I'm well-acquainted with managing a bit of chaos. I have experience working with children on the spectrum and those with disabilities, thanks in part to assisting my mother, an ECE instructor, in both classroom and preschool settings. I pride myself on being a caring and nurturing individual who children (and pets) naturally gravitate toward. My skills include cooking, baking, cleaning, and managing basic household chores while engaging with children in a meaningful way. I focus on helping children learn to care for themselves and their environment, where appropriate. Additionally, I offer support with homework, tutoring, emotional regulation, and basic life skills. I am seeking a long-term position where I can build lasting relationships with both children and their families. I am also open to working with multiple families on an on-call basis as needed.
