About Lois

I'd describe my personality as calm, friendly, and patient. I like tutoring because I love to see when students start to understand the content building confidence in themselves. I also love that through the process the student is learning so much more! I'm looking for a job that allows me an opportunity to help others and offer opportunities for independence and growth. I started teaching 20 years ago. I have worked in multiple different capacities helping students. In my spare time, I like to exercise, golf, run and watch athletics. One thing you should know about me is I am very patient and willing to utilize different methods to find a method that best suits the learning needs of your child. My skills include content knowledge, understanding of accommodations and modifications that may assist understanding. A variety of methods.
