About Lois

I'm Lois, a sweet, gentle, and kind woman who adores children. Currently located in Breckenridge, Colorado. I specialize in infant care, but work with many different age groups. It is so rewarding to help children build their motor skills and see them progress through their developmental stages. While I care for children, I like to create age-appropriate activities to help them progress through their developmental stages and meet them where they are, as well as have fun! I have been a personal at home nanny, babysitter, and child care attendant in a daycare center. Typically I prefer to care for children in their own homes where they are confident and comfortable. I find that this is where the most learning occurs at a young age. I am currently certified in the following state certifications for both Indiana and Colorado: - CPR - Infant Safe Sleep Practices - Recognition and Reporting of Child Abuse and Neglect - Preventing Shaken Baby Syndrome and Abusive Head Trauma
