My last employer was with School District of Manatee County, FL as a K-5 Teacher Aide for students with special needs. I have provided daily care for residents in a home provided by a County Board of Disabilities and Special Needs for over 15 months. I have provided care for children in my home for over 20 years; Residential Counselor for two residential homes for children and youth with a variety of special needs. These individuals were diagnosed with a variety of special needs which included but not limited to Autism Spectrum Disorders, Diabetes, Depression, Anxiety Disorders, Panic attacks, Cerebral Palsy, ADD, ADHD, Down Syndrome, Schizophrenia and Colostomy care and Cancer. Assisted with daily living and independent living skills which included bathing, dressing, training, preparing meals according to specific diets, cleaning of resident, laundry, grocery shopping and transportation.
