Assisting residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as: Bathing, grooming, and dressing, Toileting and incontinence care , Feeding and hydration , Transferring and ambulation, Also tasks as in Checking vital signs Assisting with medications and treatments. Maintaining a safe and clean environment. Supporting resident mobility and range of motions. Documenting resident information and communicating with healthcare team. Recording vital signs and ADLs , Reporting changes in resident condition to nurses and other staff , Providing emotional support and companionship Engaging in conversation and activities with residents, Providing comfort and reassurance, Assisting with meal service and feeding, Supporting resident hygiene and oral care, Participating in care planning and resident assessments.
