I have over 10 years of experience working with children as a babysitter, camp counselor, and preschool teacher. I worked as a Teacher's Helper at the Brooklyn Heights Montessori School, and at Growing Seeds, a preschool in Portland, Oregon, which trains all its staff in RIE and Reggio philosophies. I love working with children, particularly infants and toddlers. I am also happy to help with light housekeeping and cooking/meal Preparation.

I've been using Livia three days per week to watch my now one-year-old for over six months and she is fantastic. She was actually a replacement for a previous nanny who was awful and we could not have been more pleased!!. Livia is very kind, easy-going, and dependable. She is punctual with zero drama. And she is really great with my boy - he absolutely adores her and she really cares about him as well. Much of the day they spend laughing at each other! She goes above and beyond with him by taking him to various parks/playgrounds, trying to expose him to different foods, doing his laundry without me ever having to remind her, and giving me various tips she learned from her previous experience in childcare. Plus she always follows any preferences I have for my child and helps out frequently with extra days/extended hours when needed. We are moving away in a couple weeks and we will all be very sad to have to say goodbye to her.
