I have worked with children with special needs for over 3 years. I currently work for the Matinez Unified School District and Mt. Diablo Unified School District as a special education assistant. I attend Samuel Merritt University and I am working on my Occupational Therapy Doctorate. I have over 80 hours observing and assisting therapy session for children with special needs. I am passionate about working with children with special needs. I understand many of the sub-skills that are required to be developed to allow the child to flourish in their everyday activities. I am encouraging and willing to give my full effort to provide the child I am assisting with the best care possible.
