About Lis

I am a dedicated, dual-certified special education/ general education teacher with over 10 years of experience in empowering children and supporting their families. I am familiar with many of the ELA, math, science, and social studies curriculums used in NYC DOE schools. (Fundations, HMH, ReadyGen, GoMath, Envisions, Passport, Amplify, and more!) I bring patience, creativity, and a personalized approach to every lesson, ensuring that each child feels supported, understood, and empowered. I'd describe my personality as patient, charismatic, and creative. In my spare time, I like to exercise, read, and plan vacations.
