About Lisa

I'd describe my personality as adaptable, caring and flexible. I like working with kids because they are creative and forgiving. As adults we don't always see the good in people. Kids help up learn forgiveness and teach us understanding. I'm looking for a job that will fill some of my time during the summer and when school is out on breaks. I started working with kids when I was in high school at a daycare. I continued during college. When my son started school, I quit my full time job to stay at home with him. I quickly learned I needed to work and stay busy, so I became a substitute teacher. This allowed me to be home with my son and work when I wanted too. Shortly after, a position became available in our school zone and that's where I have stayed. I work directly with kids with autism as well as all other kids in the school. In my spare time, I like to read, work puzzles and be outside.
