I have many years working with children to teens with autism in all stages, including non-verbal. I have been called the autism whisperer because I am very patient & understanding. My understanding stems from growing up with a father with Asperger's. I understand how they think and react. I also have worked with children & teens with ADD, ADHD & phonics dyslexia . I am certified in speech & language. I thoroughly enjoy working with children and believe every day is a day to learn something new ! Whether we are outdoors playing sports to a nature hike or indoors crafting or reading. I always seize an opportunity to expand their minds no matter the age. Personal note: I love to be outdoors & feel so blessed to be in gorgeous Florida. I enjoy everything to do with the ocean, biking, tennis, gardening, painting, crafts, glutenfree baking & volunteering with foster families & church.
