I was a personal assistant/care giver for 3 yrs with an amazing gentleman with Asperger's and who unfortunately became blind. He relied and entrusted me with every aspect of his life, from daily personal care to scheduling doctors' appts , transportation, grocery shopping, laundry, and keeping the house tightly & organized. ( he had a maid & cook) I also handled his office administrative work, since he owned 2 companies. I also managed the household. I have been a governess & nanny for more than 15 years & a mother of 3 grown children. So managing a house hold & organizing families comes naturally. I just happened to fall into this personal assistant/caregiver job and found I really enjoyed it. Unfortunately, my employer recently passed away. We enjoyed daily walks, trips to museums, baseball games & even shopping. I am a firm believer in the importance of exercise & enjoy each day to the fullest. Age may slow you down a little that's all !
