I would like families to know that I understand that childcare is rarely accessible and affordable. I believe every parent has right to dependable and safe childcare. I'd describe my personality as amiable, nurturing, and empathetic. I like working with kids because they are bright and curious. As someone with experience working in early childhood education, I know how vital it is to make children feel safe in order to thrive in an environment. I'm looking for a job that provides me an opportunity to grow my interpersonal skills. I started working with kids when I was in college. I worked with pre-k children for three years in underprivileged areas of Santa Ana, CA, with the Jumpstart program. In my spare time, I like to read non-fiction, spend time with my cat Meowisha, and run! One thing you should know about me is that I believe that parents are doing the best they can with what they have. My skills include being a good listener, a decent cook, and a fun companion.
