Compassionate caring person to help you care for your loved one I'm looking for a job that is offering competitive wages and hoping for Monday thru Friday looking for daytime hours . I care for any type of patient although have worked with many patients with dementia or Alzheimer's . I started caring for seniors when a friend needed help with her grandmother. I wanted to help her out. My skills include preparing medication making sure given as prescribed. Preparing meals I am a good cook it's appreciated. Getting social time in getting any form of movement or exercise depending on the patients condition. I will always put my patients first. I provide companionship needed that seems to be most important sometimes our seniors get lonely and would like some company. I have taken care of 5 families with a variety of medical issues . Care. com is new to me I have always received my other positions through word-of-mouth . I am willing to provide job references and personal references.

Lisa cared for my 99 year old grandmother. She was very attentive to her needs. She cooked meals for her and washed dishes. She also did her laundry as well as some light cleaning. She would help my grandmother to the restroom and help her get dressed. When my grandmother got to the point of not being able to get up and walk anymore Lisa always made sure that her depends were changed on a regular basis and that she was kept clean and dry. I appreciated the time Lisa spent talking with my grandmother and just spending time with her and being present. She would do paint her nails for her and do her hair. She became a great companion to her. I also appreciated the fact that Lisa was extremely reliable. She would always let me know ahead of time if she needed time off and would always call and let me know if for some reason she couldn’t make it because of illness but that rarely happened. She took her job very seriously and knew how important it was to be there every day. Lisa is also extremely trust worthy. I never worried about anything when she was there. She took care of my loved one like it was her own family. I would highly recommend Lisa.
