About Lisa

I was a critical care nurse working in hospitals for 30 years and caring for others makes me happy. I prefer to set my own schedule now. I'd describe my personality as quiet, caring, and with a sense of humor. I am assertive on behalf of my patients. I like caring for seniors because it feels like caring for family. I'm looking for a job that will allow intermittent work and flexible scheduling. I started caring for seniors full time when I became a nurse 30 years ago, but also worked at a hospital during college. In my spare time, I like to run, cook, garden, and am an avid reader. One thing you should know about me is I have the patience of Job, and continue to love people after 30 years of nursing. My skills include all aspects of elder care, such as bathing, med admin, treatments and enrichment. And I can cook!
