About Lisa

So a little about me: I became a stay at home mom when I moved from NY to CT to run our family business in downtown Mystic. My children are just about grown, my youngest is 18, so I am looking to continue on with my first love.. childcare. I have 5 yrs experience as a TA and 2yrs teaching preschool. I've volunteered at many different levels within the Stonington school district & spent 4 years (2018-23) as a nanny for 2 fabulous girls in Westerly. My last position was paraprofessional at the inclusive preschool program, also in Westerly (2024) I love nature, art, music, photography, reading, cooking and animals. I love getting children out in the world - parks, playgrounds, libraries, museums. I think children learn from doing and being engaged with the world around them. Prior to my life as a parent and childcare worker I was a pharmaceutical sales rep (10yrs) yuck. Please don't make me go back :-) feel free to reach out If you think we'd make a good team.
