I'd like to describe myself as outgoing, caring and reliable I've rescued 4 dogs from the SPCA & 5 from rescue orgs. Although I choose to adopt, I don't judge those who want purebreds I've rescued a dog with diabetes, a small dog rescued from a farm in Fresno who had been badly abused and deemed unadoptable because of biting previous adopting families. Before the rescue had her euthanized, I asked if I could adopt her. Though she was in her opened crate, I didn't touch her until she came out to sniff me. She lived the rest of her life feeling secure and loved. I now have a small dog from a rescue & a large dog I rescued from a homeless person, who was abusive. He was choked so badly, his salivary glands collapsed, causing a mass with salvia to form in his neck. Plus he feared everything indoors. With love and patience, he's now the biggest goofball around I love all animals, promising to make them feel safe and keep up the routine they're used to and enjoy while they're in my care.
