About Lisa

I am passionate about my faith and family! After earning my elementary education degree, teaching overseas, and then teaching in the St. Paul Public Schools, my husband and I made the decision to homeschool. I have enjoyed the blessings and challenges of home-centered learning and memory-making over the past 25+ years. (Nine graduates down; two to go!) Less busy now than when I had many young children, I am able to pursue various interests, joys and job opportunities (like Care. com) that will allow me to help fund travel to visit our growing family all over the U. S. In my spare time, I enjoy volunteering at church, and walking a few miles every day while listening to audiobooks.
