Hi, I'm Lisa, Chicago born, college educated, a nanny, musician, writer, artist, ex-office manager, and a very warm, responsible, energetic & fun woman. I have 16 years professional nanny experience focusing on babies and toddlers. I'm on the sensitive, empathetic side, and extremely intuitive with babies. I've learned a lot about wake windows and getting babies the best sleep possible. I recently ended an 18 month job with a baby boy who transitioned to daycare, he was a 3-month-old preemie at the start. Carrie, his mom, left me a nice review, and I have many more 5-Star reviews on this site. I like to befriend other Nannies so the kids can play together. I can drive to take kids to classes or the zoo. My goal is to make the parent's life easier, and the child's life better. Lisa cared for our son from 3 months to 21 months. She brings years of experience to the job and it shows in her deep knowledge about childcare. She's also very caring, attentive, and engaging with the kids she cares for. She treated our son as if he were her own child. She's very creative in cooking food for babies, and helped us introduce solids as we were first time parents. She also had a lot of advice on what baby products to get as our son grew. Our son was always happy to see her, and we never worried when she was taking care of him. Now that she's no longer our nanny, she babysits occasionally and our son is always thrilled to see her and we feel completely at ease knowing he's happy and well cared for with her.
