I have 25+years of experience with children. I've taught preschool through 8th grade- including regular classroom as well as Spanish, Special Education and Reading. Now that my boys have busy schedules, I'm wanting to find part time meaningful work that is purposeful and as rewarding as teaching and raising my boys. I've been care giving as well as nannying for about two years. I treat children with kindness and compassion while teaching them manners and how to respect others. I try to help each child find their strengths and build their self esteem so that they can reach their own potential. Building a relationship of trust, with children, starts with listening and observing as well as finding common interests. I have a big sense of humor and am generally a positive, open minded, and fun person who has never met someone I can't get to smile!! I'm unfortunately allergic to cats, shedding dogs and smoke.
