I am looking for part time meaningful work. I have years of experience with young people. I've taught Spanish K-8, Special Ed, Preschool and Kindergarten but recently had the opportunity to care for several older people who have varying needs from Alzheimer's, MS, Macular Degeneration, Dev. Delays, and hospice care (days and overnight). I've learned a lot about Caregiving and found I truly enjoy it! I had taken care of my grandma and father through their battles with cancer as well. I am a wife and mother of two grown boys. I enjoy traveling, hiking, playing Pickleball, music/art, kayaking, cross country skiing, and lots of games, puzzles and cribbage! I am an avid baseball and football fan too! I have a fun loving and positive outlook on life and I love to be silly but I also know when to listen and observe/respond to needs respectfully. I'm unfortunately allergic to shedding dogs, all cats and cannot be around smokers. Hope to hear from you! Can provide several references!
