About Lisa

I am a newly retired teacher looking to continue my love of teaching by helping students build skills and confidence. I have 22 years of experience with preschool and elementary age students in private school and public school settings. My experience includes working with students who experience a variety of learning challenges ( including specific learning disabilities and autism). I can provide homework help as well as instruction to help strengthen and reinforce a variety of basic academic skills. I love the challenge of finding fun motivating activities to help students learn! I'd describe my personality as patient, dedicated, flexible I like tutoring because I like to see students experience success and grow as learners. In my spare time, I like to hike, walk my dogs and spend time with my family. My skills include the ability to meet learners where they are and create fun activities to support their learning.
