Currently, I work as a mod/severe education specialist in a full inclusion charter school . After attending CSUN and receiving my BA in Child and Adolescent Development with a special emphasis in Early Childhood Education I worked for many years in corporate daycare with infants and toddlers as well as teaching preschool and working in after school programs. I am currently enrolled in National University pursuing my Mod/Severe Special Education credential and my MA in Special Education. My love for special education came when I decided to go to work for a local school district, and I was placed in a month, severe special-needs classroom as a 1:1 aide to a student who had a pace maker in his heart and cerabel palsy. I worked with this student for several years and then became a substitute teacher in the mod/severe special day classes. I have also worked as an intern teacher in a mod/severe special needs class with students on the autism spectrum and orthopedic impairments.
