About Lisa

I am currently a third grade teacher, but have taught and observed in classes in grades 2-5 (ages 7-11). I have a Masters Degree in Elementary Education and a Virginia Teaching License. I've been babysitting since the age of 12, including working as a Mother's Helper, tutoring, overnight babysitting, and caring for children as young as four months, and as old as 12. Working with children is my passion and has influenced my career choice. I have tutored neighbors before including teaching violin and cello, and helping with homework and tutoring of various subjects from kindergarten-middle school. I've cared for dogs, cats, hamsters, guinea pigs, fish, and hermit crabs.
