About Lisa

I was recently laid off from a position with a local firm I did not wish to relocate. I am a very family oriented person; I have traveled extensively and had been with this company for 16 years and in the industry for 25 plus years. At this point, I am not sure what I want to do, however I know there are a lot of things I do not want to go back into at this time. I work with a program that involves children ages 6-12 and sometimes older ones on a volunteer basis. This gives me a lot of joy and this is the reason I would like to explore this opportunity. I am single and always wanted children and have felt like this has been my way of being able to have children at this phase of my life. I do know that I will need to be kept busy and challenged. To be a " babysitter" will not be enough for me. I am looking for more than a paycheck. I need and want to find another career so to speak but this does not have to be in the role of an executive. I love multi-tasking and as long as I know what I am suppose to do I can follow instructions. I would love the idea of handling your special projects around the house - coordinating a repair job, handling the weekly grocery shopping, assisting with meal prep, transporting children as needed. Filling in as needed when parents are out of town or any other duties that would make your life easier. I do not wish to be a full time live in nanny, however if there were emergencies I could work with you. Again, I am looking for an employer where I can build trust and a partnership long term. I am confident the right person is waiting.
