About Lisa

Have worked with a little girl for seven years. I had to take a special Ed student teaching and was placed with a 2-year-old girl to work in home and at preschool. When she was younger she had gotten really sick and lost all her skills from walking, communicating skills and more. I would work one day in the classroom on peer skills and play skills. Then one day at home on play skills, movement and songs to walking up stairs one foot then the other. I was asked when my class was done to work the summer with the family. So I took the job and then have asked me to work with her since. So from going up stairs to running to math, science and reading I have done a lot with her. I have tons of teaching books, craft ideas and tool for parents to share. Everyone does not learn the same so I learn the child and work around how they learn. Learning has to be fun for them to catch on and keep going.
