About Lisa

My experience working with children is from various opportunities. I am a certified elementary education teacher. I have taught kindergarten for two years and worked as a paraprofessional at this age level for two years. I worked as a substitute in various grade levels for approximately a year. I have taught GA Pre-K for two years and part-time for four years. I have also worked as a nanny (live-in) for approximately two and a half years (helping with homework, preparing a light snack, laundry, grocery shopping, activities, transportation, etc.). I also worked as a tutor after school for a family for two years. I have been employed as a live-in nanny for approximately 3 yrs., as well as, a live-out childcare provider. I have/do work in the church nursery & am the infant nursery coordinator. I enjoy working with children and being around them. They can be funny and loving, as well as challenging at times. It is rewarding to know you are a part of helping understand things they do not yet know or may be having difficulty learning.
