Hello, I absolutely love spending time with children. I have a deep respect for them and their unique perspectives, yet I'm able to maintain healthy boundaries. I have a strong moral compass, revere clear compassionate communication, and also like having fun. Although I am "grown", I still bounce on my trampoline, roller skate, bike, do yoga and exercise, read voraciously and garden. I was a bilingual 3rd grade teacher's aide (Spanish/English) and also worked at a group home for autistic teens. I own a house in St. Petersburg. I have references from my neighbors whose children have spent countless hours exploring and playing with me in my yard. I am very close with my 88-year-old mother who lives in Treasure Island. We love “Ms Lisa” as my son calls her! She is wildly intelligent when it comes to many things and has experienced so much that she is excited to share with little growing minds. Things like facts about native plants, wild animals & their habitats, and so much more. She was very attentive and hands on with my son not just talking about things, but doing them. Not only does she have a passion for teaching, but she loves to play! She can keep up with my rambunctious, seven-year-old who loves to be outside on her trampoline for hours. No doubt, she will be right up there, playing along with your children! We are a homeschool family, and just with briefly going over my sons daily lesson, she was able to pick it up quickly and accomplish everything on her list for that day. Ms Lisa is loving, caring, thoughtful and such a light to our family.
