About Lisa

I have been working with young children for over 10 years. I worked primarily as a volunteer while I raised my own children. In 2020 I returned to school to get an AA in Early Childhood Education and Child Development/Family Studies. I am a certificated Preschool Teacher with certificates of specialization in Special Needs/Inclusion and Infant/Toddler Care. I am registered with Community Care Licencing as well as TrustLine. I get so much joy from watching and helping young children grow and develop. I focus first on developing a secure bond and trust with the children. I then create developmentally appropriate activities based on the child/ren's interest. I am happy to work with children of all ages but have found that my strongest skill set is with the youngest learners, age 0-2.
