About Linnea

Hello! I am a medical student at UCSD in between my 2nd and 3rd years looking for part-time work until I start clinical rotations in May. I grew up in Portland, OR, attended USD for undergrad, and have been in CA ever since. Friendships and family are very important to me and I strive to build strong, lasting relationships with the families I work with. I have experience caring for kids of all ages, from 4 mo. to high school. This includes being a current nanny to a baby, and to toddlers and young kids last year. I consider myself as nurturing, attentive, and dedicated to a fun, safe environment. I also have experience as a mentor/tutor to 2nd and 3rd graders at Kit Carson Elementary School, and volunteering with youth programs, like Mini Med School, UCSD Doc-for-a-Day, and Mental Health events with student leaders. As an MD, I plan to continue working with kids and go into, family medicine, pediatrics, or child psychiatry or child neurology. I look forward to connecting with you!
