About Lindsey

Lindsey has been the best nanny we’ve ever had. She currently cares for our youngest son (now 2 years old) from 8am to 5pm four days a week, having started with us when he was just 15 months. Lindsey truly embodies everything you’d want in a nanny; she is reliable, nurturing, patient, professional, punctual, mature, responsible, and incredibly positive. One of our favorite things about Lindsey is that she is a big advocate for getting our son out of the house and keeping him active and stimulated. We are fortunate to live near a couple parks, a library, and a little downtown area, and Lindsey utilizes all of these places to let our son explore and play, both before and after his mid-day nap. She also sends us photos of their adventures throughout the day which we absolutely love — it’s such a joy to see him so happy and engaged. Lindsey is also an amazing cook. She mentioned this when we interviewed her but she completely undersold her kitchen skills! I can’t tell you how helpful it’s been to not have to worry about what my son is going to eat for snacks or lunches. She effortlessly whips up age-appropriate, healthy meals or snacks for him with whatever we have—veggie packed mini muffins, smoothies (with veggies!), and countless other nutritious meals our son loves. Lindsey is proactive and is always willing to help in ways that go above and beyond. During our son’s nap time, she helps us with his laundry, tidies up, and takes care of little tasks without needing to ask. In addition to her day-to-day schedule with us, she has also stayed overnight with our youngest, and has also babysat all three of our kids on several occasions (8, 5, and 2). During her time with us, Lindsey has been by our side when our son began walking, transitioned from two naps to one, and when we weaned him from a bottle and a pacifier. She navigated each process with patience, encouragement, and support. I could go on and on. But I will conclude with this: Lindsey is an incredible nanny and any family would be lucky to have her. We can’t recommend her highly enough!
