Hello Parents! I'm an experienced teacher with a B. S. in Early Childhood Ed. degree & a Master of Arts in Teaching degree. After teaching 1st & 2nd grade for 8 years I began staying home with my newborn, who is now 7. I also have a baby! I offer tutoring to pre-K through elementary aged students, and specialize in teaching reading and in building a strong math foundation. Rather than using traditional paper and pencil teaching methods, I use hands-on teaching with games, manipulatives, and activities. Having been a part of the public school system, I'm able to efficiently determine holes and areas that need strengthening. I have a classroom space in my home to work with students.
