My family are animal-lovers and I have always been raised with dogs and cats in our home. As an adult, I couldn't wait to have a pet of my own! I share the same love and compassion for pets that I know you all have for your animal family (because we know friends isn't a strong enough word to describe them!). I have trained my own little guy to multiple property lines so he is unleashed when on private property. However he is leashed at all times while at my apartment complex. Extra precautions are taken to ensure proper use of the leash prior to using on the dog (i. e., retractable, non-pull, etc.). Proximity control of the dog when near doors as well to ensure they don't accidentally escape. On walks, ensuring knowledge of your dog and how they respond to people, animals, wildlife, etc. Also ensuring cats are unable to sneak out the door when coming and going (because we know, if they can, they will!)
