About Lindsey

I grew up in rural Minnesota where my parents owned a family resort on a lake. This experience shaped me to be down to earth, relaxed and simply authentic. I started to work in hospitality for my parents but my work continued to be service oriented when I moved to Fargo, ND, completed a degree in Christian Missions, and began working as a nanny and a housekeeper in people's private homes. In 2017 I started my own family; my husband and I have had four children of our own since then (ages 7, 5, 4, and 1). In 2022 we relocated from Fargo ND to Grand Rapids, Michigan. I said goodbye to some very beloved clients in Fargo, and am just now feeling ready to find one or two new clients to serve. My experience has served me well. I have many skills and abilities when it comes to the home. Ultimately, my goal is to provide a flexible, reliable service that fits into your home routine, and feels more like having a family friend over for a few hours instead of a stranger in your house.

Lindsey was our nanny for our daughters for a little over a year - they absolutely adored her. We had a hectic schedule and she was always flexible. She helped them during the school year with homework and driving to and from after school activities. She also did some light housekeeping and ran errands for us and the girls. During the summer she worked full days and was very active with them - took them to the pool, on bike rides, and to kids entertainment places (i.e, Jump Street). She also helped with our dog - feeding, walks, etc. She became an extension of the family! The reason she stopped working for us was because she moved to a different state... we miss her, and it took a long time to find another nanny similar to Lindsey! Would highly recommend hiring her.
